Kerry wants our troops to have body armor but not any actual, you know, weapons. Maybe we can borrow some machine guns from Kofi Annan's bodyguards, should we ever need to, uh, kill the enemy or something.

My friend, I'm a small-l libertarian with strong constitutionalist tendencies.
There are a great many things that W has done which make me VERY angry.
However, to me, this is a one-issue election.
John Kerry's actions in the 1970s prolonged one war, resulting in more American servicemen dying, and ultimately millions of Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians as well.
A Kerry victory in November would be seen as a lack of U.S. resolve; this would result in the prolonging of a second war.
And that is utterly unacceptable to me.
I will vote for Bush because the message must be sent to those around the world that we will not waver in our fight.

Oh, you must watch it.
The transcript doesn't convey the full power of the speech.
CSPAN also has the speeches, you can watch it there too ( it may not be there yet, but probably by tomorrow -- I haven't actually checked).
Zell's speech is a "must not miss". He put his heart and soul into it.
He was tremendous!

Very nice speach. It almost wants me to vote Republican again. I wont though because I'm not convinced that Pres. Bush is serious about our national security as long as he refuses to get serious on immigration reform. Vote for the Constitution Party!! www.constitutionparty.org

I hope Zell will campaign with Bush between now and election day.
I'd love to have him come to California, and let Arnold and Zell give speeches to the Democrats here.
If they did a couple of times, Bush might just carry CA.

Four years ago I had similar feelings. I voted for a small party candidate. I haven't changed but the world has. If we were not at war I would probably be voting 3rd party again. Stopping Kerry is more important than any statement I would be making. Bush it is.
