Crap!! My son & his family live in Kissimmee. They got hit with Charlie from the west and now it looks like they're gonna get Frances from the east. They moved to Florida in February to escape the Jersey winters and now they have to fight Florida's summers! He said as scary as Charlie was, he still likes Florida better.

If it hits Orlando the theme park will be the least of Disney's worries. Their Celebration development was very lightly constructed. I asked one of their sales reps about it and he told me "not to worry -they never get hurricanes up here."

Disney survived the last hurricane with only some trees downed. They closed for half a day Friday and re-opened Saturday.

I have been thinking that since last night and I am in Brevard County. Disney can withstand 140 mph winds..not much else. It could literally close the parks down for days only because of damage. They run on nuclear power.
