I know a certain Vietnam Vet who was in a public place last election and a Democrat was running his mouth about how great Gore is and how Bush is no good. The Vietnam Vet disagreed and the Dem took a swing at him! We all can guess what happened next. He got decked in self defense. He crawled to the phone and indignantly called the police. No charges were pressed out of mercy for him and everyone stood up for the Vet. Later, the Dem came back wanting to know the name of the Vet so he could sue him. Nobody told him a thing.

WFTV Orlando just showed the clip and the Dem was arrested.
They name the victim, but not the perp? What is the perp's name and address and telephone number? Just curious.
If they think we deserve violence for merely expressing political free speech, I think I have an idea of what they deserve for opposing it.

I've seen two riots in my life, 67 in Cleveland and 91 in L.A.. Whenever some pinhead pol starts talking about disarming the population I remember the police standing by while the rioters were lighting fires and carrying away tv's.
It just goes to show you that some of those Kerry supporters are not of sound mind. They are nuts and they act it.

The Dem is now facing an open-and-shut charge of second degree assault (RCW §9A.36.021) captured in its entirity in living color, which is a Class B Felony - one less Democrat voter once he's convicted.
I hope the DA's office doesn't plead him out to a misdemeanor.

I'd encourage anyone in that area to keep the pressure on the DA to make sure that the guy isn't allowed to plead out to a misdemeanor offense. Sucker punches - particularly politically motivated ones - should be severely punished.
Should charge him on Federal civil rights violations too, for that matter.
