Aug. 28, 2004 — MOSCOW (Reuters) - Explosives have been found in the wreckage of the second of two jets which crashed almost simultaneously this week, Russia's FSB security service said on Saturday.
"Additional examination of the fragments of the Tu-134 aircraft which crashed Tuesday ... has revealed traces of hexogen," an FSB spokesman said by telephone.
The FSB said Friday that hexogen, more widely known as RDX, had been found in the wreckage of the other plane which crashed Tuesday in southern Russia.

If this happened in the US, I think it would cause quite a bit bigger stir than we're getting out of Russia. People would be calling for another regime to be flipped. Guess that's why they are leaving us the heck alone. Hope so.
Erly on before they were reporting that this was terrorism and people were saying if thi sis terrorism why hasn't anyone claimed it yet. I got to thinking about this and while some groups take credit right away, others seem to wait. Maybe waiting for their people to get back to safe houses or something.
Look at the various plane crashes we've had that people thought terrorism, but it would get brushed off by authorities as not being terrorism.
Then we get 9/11. No mistaking that one. Had it been only one plane, they probably would have tried to say it was pilot error, maybe even suggest the pilot had a heart attaack or something. But, with two planes, it was too hard to explain away.
I think that's why they do things in multiples now, because too many governments were hiding the facts that they were terrorist activities.
Because they want us to think that only our countries foreign policies can cause terrorists to attack -- us.
The Russian's couldn't possibly have the same problem with Muslim terrorists, or so the global dominant media would like us to believe, because they aren't like -- us.

Well that is funny since it is the Chechins who in 1992 ethnically cleanse 400,000 Russians, Georgians, Armenians and Jews and 450,000 own peoples...it is Chechins who between 1996-1999 kidnap 1,500 peoples plus. It is Chechins who in 1999 INVADE Daghistan and extermiante whole villages (and video tape snuff flickst of selves). It is Chechins who blow up trains, apartment buildings, concert, restuarants...so I believe it is now the Russian right who have no choice but to rid of Chechins.
