FOXNEWS HANNTIY/COLMES 1.8
FOXNEWS GRETA 1.6
FOXNEWS BRIT HUME 1.3
FOXNEWS SHEP SMITH 1.3
MSNBC OLBERMAN 0.6
MSNBC NORVILLE 0.6
MSNBC HARDBALL 0.6
MSNBC SCARBOROUGH 0.6
CNN LARRY KING .5
CNN AARON BROWN 0.5
CNN PAULA ZAHN 0.5
CNBC DENNIS MILLER 0.1
CNBC MCENROE 0.1
Saw macenroe's show once.....nothing to see...from the cookie cutter.
With ratings of .5 and .6 both cnn and pmsnbc are in the cable ratings toilet. That should tell us that the conservative viewpoint (what there is of it) is what makes Fox News #1.
Can we say no personality Aaron Brown and Zahn... does my herat good to see Norville move ahead of Paula Zahn. Deborah has done some good shows and does entire shows on a subject so she can get to the bottom of issues (like the Jessep issue here on the AZ/UT borders with Colordo City/Hilldale.. then you have Paula when someone says something nice about Bush, she always crosses her legs, moves in a little closer to the guest, grins and then says, yes, BUT ..... and will the deride the Pres to get the guest to say something nasty about him or the administration... I like Scarborough, though his shows with Pat running them have actually been a little livelier since the Dem convention when someone pulled Joe's reigns.
Hm? That one went right over my noggin.
"You cannot be serious!!!"
about the same lineup at our house, too... I love Dennis Miller and his unorthodox way of doing things... and Mogley!
Tennis..McEnroe..it's dean's game also..
Yeeaaarrgghh!
This is probably a temporary fluke due to the Olympics. NBC is sending a lot of traffic to MSNBC because of the Olympics.
Scarbourough has a good show - he gets to the meat and potatoes of things. McEnroe is a jerk. He is an idiot lib very much against Bush. I don't like Mattehews, but at least he has decent people on the show.
I like Miller..but he can't do a nightly show..many of his guest suck..no polite way to put it..and he can't fill an hour by himself..HIs genius, when he did his HBO show, was that it was weekly..all great material..
You could be right, but CNN is in the tank either way, and these are low numbers.
He's lib pig. The three minutes I watched about a week ago he had some lib weener talking about how evil Dubya is and McBaby saying he was a certain to be a one-term president. End of my viewing experierence forever.
Don't watch Chis Matthews then. We want him GONE!
Maybe we should all talk his show up more -- it's been in reruns all this week -- again. Not sure what they will do next week since he was on vacation during the Dem convention -- we need to get his ratings up -- I like his show a lot compared to O'Reilly on Fox for instance. And he does try to cover both points of view -- even if he doesn't agree -- he got much better once they changed to a live audience.... then someone thought if he did less politics his ratings would go up -- not sure why they thought that....
It actually pains me to see the headline "MSNBC Moves Ahead of CNN"
MSNBC is the Michael Moore of Cable News Stations. CNN is tame compared to MSNBC these days.
Upon looking at the numbers, it's not that MSNBC has pulled ahead it's that CNN is dramatically losing their audience. Last week Hardball had a rating of .8 now it's at .6
I remember Britt Hume being asked about if he was concerned about Al Gore starting up a new liberal network. Hume laughed and said they just don't get it. It's not competition for Fox it's competition for all the other networks.
2.0 is pretty high for O'Reilly. Usually he's more like 1.7. What was going on last night?
I agree -- so here's a serious question... why is it that Bush is the race still 50/50??? Of course, listening to Sean's radio show the Koolaiders planning to vote for Kerry don't even know who they are voting for =-- actually several didn't even KNOW his name one called him Kerney -- and Sean said Jim Kerney? He said: yeah, that's the guy I'm voting for and when Sean asked the name of the VP candidate they didn't know so Sean says -- Stu Ped? Yeah, the guy, says that's him -- after than everyone Sean talked to he used Jim Kerney and Stu Ped and the idiots all said that is who they were voting for!
You have that right about MSNBC and has been for sometime -- I watch very little cable news now and never watch the alphabet networks. I get my news from talk radio and the Internet!
