He's not perfect but there is something very refreshing about this guy. He actually cares about ideas!

Yes, he cares about ideas---and he is very attentive to the meaning of every word--such as "bear". His command of the English language is excellent and very consistent with logic. That is why I like him.

Very well put. That's why I like him. He's a real patriot and whether I agree or disagree with any particular issue with him I highly admire that his view is well thought out and logical. I think I could trust him.

I agree. And he's an excellent orator.

As an aside, I've got to say that I really loved Pat Buchanon's take on gun control. When asked what sort of weapons should citizens be able to own, his response was something like, "as long as it doesn't have a traier hitch, and isn't crew served, it should be OK!" I loved that! And the gun control freaks had kittens! lol

Captian Kirk, you are exactly right. In a world full of corporate mush and political equivocators, here's a guy who steps up and has a point of view that he's standing up for. Very refreshing. As for Mr. Obama, he's a little Marxist weasel who couldn't be trusted to check the punctuation of our blessed Constitution. He should be deported. These are dangerous times and the police, as well-meaning as they may be, cannot protect everyone. Under these circumstances, we might consider making gun ownership mandatory.
