Steve called again last night to say he'd been told there is a FEMA Respose slide presentation (14 pictures) on Hurricane Charley on the FEMA website.
(Federal Emergency Management Agency, under which DMAT falls now, under Homeland Security)

The person said Steve is the subject of the second slide.

I went to http://www.fema.gov and viewed it:

Steve Martin from the Florida Task Force stitches

Medical Assistance Teams (DMATS) tent at
the hospital in Punta Gorda.
She cut her leg while cleaning up after
Hurricane Charley.
DMATS were operating
the day after Hurricane Charley hit.

looking after animal victims of the storm.

Steve is working the night shift now, and had gone out to dinner for a change.
Said a few of them went to Applebee's, and the restaurant insisted upon treating them to their meal!
