Steve called again last night to say he'd been told there is a FEMA Respose slide presentation (14 pictures) on Hurricane Charley on the FEMA website.
(Federal Emergency Management Agency, under which DMAT falls now, under Homeland Security)
The person said Steve is the subject of the second slide.
I went to http://www.fema.gov and viewed it:
Steve Martin from the Florida Task Force stitches
up gash on Andrea William's leg inside the Disaster
Medical Assistance Teams (DMATS) tent at
the hospital in Punta Gorda.
She cut her leg while cleaning up after
Hurricane Charley.
DMATS were operating
the day after Hurricane Charley hit.

(No - Steve's head is not distorted!
There is a nurse to his left)
There actually is a V(eterinary)MAT component,
looking after animal victims of the storm.
The American Red Cross delivers dinner to
George Coolier whose home was heavily damaged.
