I'm not sure why you included Putnam and Dutchess Counties as part of the "Peoples Republic of New York." I don't think that a Democratic presidential candidate has ever won Dutchess County, including FDR, who lived in the County (Hyde Park). Putnam County is also heavily republican. On the other hand, neither Erie County nor Monroe County have a place in a "Free New York."
