What we'd like to know is this: How many men were killed qualifying/training in the F-102 (Air National Guard and USAF) vs. how many men were killed "driving" Swift boats in Viet Nam. Hubby did a FULL tour on Swifts at about the same time as Kerry (hubby was further north). He doesn't recall an overwhelming number of OinC's buying the farm. Anyone have any statistics on this?
Clinton had tons of skeletons and the media in cahoots with him. So he just said nothing most of the time whenever things got too hot and let the press divert to covering the OJ Simpson Trial or whatever.

I believe Don Evans has an amazing story about Dubya's heroic piloting of their plane. He is convinced that Dubya's cool expertise saved their lives.
If it was only Kerry's brain that was missing it wouldn't be too bad. It's the lack of soul and heart that is so troubling.
The only way to do that is for John Kerry to continue confronting these attacks as sleazy hit pieces. He needs to let Americans (preferably in swing states) know how these ads break his heart. "Not only are their attacks hurtful to me and my family. They are also slandering those band of brothers who risked their lives alongside of me in Vietnam. And to me, that is unforgiveable."
Nah, Kerry should have taken the moral high ground and said that while he appreciates their service to this country, his recollections differ from theirs. Instead, he's bashing not only veterans but POWs!

Rather than admit the truth, that Kerry had called Reed and asked him to help, he went off on some bogus story about the guy feeling it was his duty as a citizen.
Too bad Joe doesn't have the facts to get to the bottom of this.

The Washington Post reporter said specifically that they had found no evidence linking Bush to the Swifties.
"So Bush stays on the high road while Kerry goes on attack and bleeds support because of these ads. The Kerry camp must change this political dynamic quickly. "

Jennifer Millerwise, Bush Cheney Dep Communications Director, denies that allegation. "Tied up in knots", is how Jennifer describes the KErry campaign, she says the Kerry campaign has ACT people in Ohio doing their work for them, all the moveon.org money....
Jennifer comments on the Kerry ad: We've condemned all 520 ads, and we've asked Kerry to do the same, we think it's wrong, we've been at the receiving end of 62 million dollars worth of these ads. She lists off all the things the Bush campaign wants to talk about, not Viet Nam.

I care not if Kerry is unmasked and defeated for his actions 30+ years ago - or his current treacheries.... I just want him unmasked, throughly defeated and humiliated - as he encouraged the American public to think of us on our return home....
Then, I want some old farts to grab him by his $100 haircut, drag him to the Wall on the Mall and have him apologize in person to all our brothers that he slandered as they still fought or laid in their graves..

I won’t be surprised if the media doesn’t mention the fact that Zell Miller is a democrat. It would be against everything they believe in. After all, it is the republicans who are suppose to be jumping ship, at least according to NBC.
