F&F: William Rood, the new Kerryite defender, says there was enemy fire coming from both banks of the river.

[Not sure exactly were Rood was in that incident. But, didn't Kerry's own handwritten diaries contradict his later 'enemy fire' commentaries? I think all these guys are relying on 35 year old memories, which are not always reliable. None of their stories are 100% accurate, so somewhere in the middle of both sides is the truth. The actual truth probably will never be known because the only records are sketchy documentation, Kerry's memoirs/diaries, and Kerry's video---posed later.]

GAG: Sasha Burns, Kerry defender/mouthpiece, is on FoxNews. (She brings her own kneepads.) Malzberg is also on, taking her to task. He won't let her interrupt him. (Wow, go man, go!). Malzberg got his message across. Burns wants to talk about the issues---Malzberg, responds that all Kerry wants to talk about is his VietNam experience.

[Malzberg is the first one I've seen who actually is effective in shutting Burns down.]

Wrong incident. Rood was involved with Silver Star. The question of enemy fire from both banks was relevant to the March 13 incident. which earned Kerry a Bronze medal and 3rd PH.

Kerry thinks he can persuade us to judge him on four months in the '60s and totally disegard his actions during the last 35 years! Well, I only know one person (a flaming Lib idiot) that is that gullible.

Rood was present on Feb 28, the day Kerry earned his Silver Star. The point of contention that day is whether Kerry attacked a numerically superior enemy force while under intense fire (when he beached).

The incident where most observers assert there was no enemy fire, other than a mine, was on March 13. That is when Kerry earned his Bronze Star (put in for it by Rassmann).

Back to Rood for a second, his version of events seems to support the Swiftees point of material contention, that there was NOT a numerically superior enemy force when Kerry decided to turn into shore and beach his boat. Rood raises a diffference of recollection on an irrelevant point, the condition, clothing, armament and/or age of the single VC dispatched by Kerry.

Steve Malzberg is my absolute favorite. When I can't sleep(which is often) I listen to his show on 770 out of NYC. It's one of the best.

Well gee, Rood wasn't on the boat with Kerry, was he? How can he possibly speak to what Kerry did or did not do, according to democrat "logic."
