How come it is that I arrive too late to read the removed posts. All I get are a couple of replies to them.
Kinda hard to extrapolate the original from them!

Right, Fred and Wilma never
walked anywhere; they rode in that stone-wheeled "run a car".

The pulled posts were from neanderthalbear -- the latest nom de Freep of Ted Holden, who was banned awhile back for his incessant spamming.

Not a ping, just a bttt, because this story has been recycled, including some of the quotes. Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on, off, or alter the "Gods, Graves, Glyphs" PING list --
Archaeology/Anthropology/Ancient Cultures/Artifacts/Antiquities, etc.

“Neanderthal man never walked in northern Europe.”
Well duh! Of course not! There never was a Neanderthal man. That was just one of the early pseudo-scientific “facts” cooked up in an attempt to evade and avoid facing our Creator God.

You've just highlighted the problem with all psuedo-intellectual Nominalism (but I repeat myself). By definition, Neanderthals could not have NOT been in Northern Europe, ‘cause, ya’know, that's where the Neander Valley is found.
To: Brass Lamp
The Neander Valley seems to be north of 51 degrees North latitude (further north than Calgary). That seems to me to be Northern Europe. But I'm not a philosopher so you lost me talking about nominalism.
To be sure, Europe wasn't called that when the Neanderthals were alive.
To: Verginius Rufus
Oh, I was agreeing with you about the situation of the valley, I was using a double negative for rhetorical effect. You're right, Neanderthals are essentially Northern Euro.
To: Brass Lamp
The original findspot is in Northern Europe, but Neanderthal remains have been found in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Syria, Kurdistan, Israel, and Uzbekistan.

"The original findspot is in Northern Europe, but Neanderthal remains have been found in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Syria, Kurdistan, Israel, and Uzbekistan."And, bits (DNA) of Neanderthal Man is found in everyone alive today except most Africans. All the features that define Neanderthal Man can be found (mostly separate) in humans today.
Australian Aboriginies today have a more pronounced brow ridge than did Neanderthals.
(ahem)Should we report Tucler39 for religious extremism?
I hope everyone realizes that this thread was started over ten years ago.
