Despite his strong insistence that rock has no place in politics, Cooper is one of just a handful of high-profile musicians who've proclaimed support for Bush. I've liked Alice for over 30 years. And I agree with his message here. And I'm glad he likes President Bush. But ...
I am reminded of the Monty Python skit were the gumby man shouts out, "We should tax people who stand in water!" and then looks down and slowly realizes he is standing in water.

"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal." Oh man, LOL! *nailed it*

We should shy away from celebrity endorsements. If the married-5-times, hooked-on-cocain crowd is endorsing our opponents that's good.
To: annyokie
I'm not sure that a self-confessed moron is the right person to endorse Bush right now.

This will undoubtedly insult and annoy the music/Hollyweird crowd, they take themselves very seriously.
I like it.

He penned what could be the democrat anthem, considering their central core (abortion):
From the song "Dead Babies"
"Dead babies can't take care of themselves dead babies can't take things off the shelf
Well we didn't love you anyway lalalalalalalalalalala"

Yup, I
have to see the old dog live one of these days.
I liked him back in his freak show days, that whole puking on the stage reference, I immitated that as a kid.
Ok so I had a tad bit of a non-traditional upbringing? so what!
I know what's what now.
