Did I hear this right on NBC News ? The Kerry people have "threatened " Bush that if he does not denounce the Swiftvets ads , that "everything" would be on the table ? ( Meaning they would start to attack Bushs military record )

"wouldn't it be better to shift the public debate to what Kerry hasn't done for the thirty years he's been on the public dole since then?" The president has tried to do that. Seems Kerry doesn't want to discuss it. Bush even had an ad addressing Kerry's MIA in the Senate. Kerry called it Republican dirty tricks. Kerry doesn't do truth. It's as simple as that. It's just that he's desperately trying to hide that little fact and in the process he just keeps digging himself in deeper.

".....and Bush is a big doody head.?" And if Bush doesn't make the mean ol' swift boat vets quit running their ads, John F'n will just hold his breath till he turns blue.

Two of Bush's fellow pilots in the unit were killed in crashes in the Guard.Air Force Brat here.
I grew up with a steady stream of friends/teachers/neighbors who lost their fathers, brothers, and sons to training accidents.
George Bush was at risk every time he flew.

Besides, my hobbyhorse would be to repeal the amendment that led to direct election of Senators. If the opportunity to fight that battle ever knocks on your door, count me in as an ally. If repealing the 17th Amendment were to keep even one empty suit poodle like John Kerry from getting a lifetime Senate appointment, it would be worth any battle.

"If you were on a commercial aircraft in emergency conditions, who would you rather land the plane?" I like putting this question to people: "if you were stranded in a dark alley in a bad part of town, which one would you trust to cover your back?"

You mean they're going to dredge up the "Bush was AWOL from the NG!" attack for a fifth time? Is there something about the number five that makes them think the attack will be any more successful than it was the first four times it was trotted out?
This claim is not likely to change anyones mind now, who hasn't changed their mind already.
Counter claim "Kerry AWOL 76%", which is based on proven facts, will terminate Kerry.
To: steveo
Oh, and in that question is a hint: Kerry would be the one in the bicycle pants peddling away as fast as he could.

LOL...I hadn't thought of it that way. That should be a Bush Campaign commercial. It would result in the biggest landslide in American history. :-)

How shameful!!

Does anybody really believe that Hillary didn't know this was coming? There are no "accidents" with Hillary. Everything is very carefully choreographed to her own advantage. It's Kerry's own fault though, for being stupid enough to try it.

What a parallel! A soldier going to prison for putting underwear on a captured terrorist's head and a lying communists disenfranchised by his comrade in arms being elevated to the position of a US Senator and running for the Commander-in-Chief.
