How can the NYT complain about the swift vet ad when Michael Moore was sitting in President Carter's box during the Democrat convention? What about the moveon.org adds comparing Pres. Bush to Hitler? Kerry has actually quoted from Moore and some of the Dem 527 ads (Liars + Hypocrites=NEW York Times).

I'm starting to think this may be where we start to see the Kerry campaign really start to crumble. It's clear that Sen. Kerry was upset by the luke warm reception he received earlier this week from Veterans. This brought about his angry rebuke of the Swift Boat veterans recently and his intention to attack Bush for it.

All this, and neither the campaign nor anybody else has even brought up the garbage Kerry said after Vietnam while a flag-burning protestor. I'm sure the Bush campaign is strategically waiting to release some trash that he did and said while a commie protestor.

There are far more Guardsman voting in this election than Kerry seems to realize.

The President needs to say this: "I served in the National Guard. I am proud of my service as a National Guardsman and I find it troubling that you belittle service in the Guard at a time when thousands of Guardsmen are fighting the war on terror even as we speak. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I respect and admire your Naval service in Vietnam. You don't need to badmouth Guardsmen to gain our respect. You already have it."

Once he begins attacking the president about his service record, that opens up Kerry's record to further scrutiny by the MSM - they would really have no choice.

I've become convinced over the last week that the MSM won't show any decent level of scrutiny to Kerry's record. They've had plenty of chances up to now, and all they've done is recently scrutize the swift vets, not Kerry. They realize they have to "cover the story", but they'll do it by trashing the swift vets. Look at what the NYT did in their "coverage" today.

Not smart. This is going to result in the public
learning that Bush signed up for a more dangerous
assignment. Swifts were only being used for water
taxi and coastal (not up-river) patrol when Kerry
signed up for them. F-102As were being used in combat
in VN when GW signed up, and the a/c was inherently
dangerous. My guess is that the F-102A accident rate
was higher than the combat loss rate for some other a/c.

Kerry is said to be foaming at the mouth over this one-he doesn't want his anti-war activities brought up during the campaign nor his Senate record apparently. Kerry -typical rich limousine liberal-thinks he can tell the Republicans and the swifties what they can and can not say during the campaign. Think again Mr. Kerry!
