Argh. I do not have access. Please, would you describe the ad?
It is snips of Senator Kerry's testimony before the Senate, calling the American soldiers baby killers, reminiscent of Genghis Khan, day-to-day war crimes, with pauses for POWs saying he betrayed them and his country, and testified in the senate what they were tortured to say, yet still refused to say.
I got tears in my eyes.
I try not cuss a lot on FR, but Kerry, and anyone who supports him is a piece of sh!t.
It has a picture of John F'n Kerry giving his lying testimony to the Senate in '71 or '72, and has his own voice accusing our troops of war crimes. It also shows POWs telling in their own words how that testimony affected them while in captivity.
The most powerful line to me was: "John Kerry gave them for free what we went through torture to avoid giving them" (i.e. a confession to war crimes).
SCREEN IMAGE: A still image of John Kerry testifying before Congress. The actual text is much more compelling than my paraphrase.KERRY (VOICEOVER): (paraphrasing) ...American soldiers chopped off arms/ burned down villages...
SCREEN IMAGE: POW speaking, shown head and shoulders, silhouetted and superimposed over B/W image of Kerry.
POW #1: ...our captors would accuse us of being torturers...

KERRY (VOICEOVER): (paraphrasing) ...villages were burned down...
SCREEN IMAGE: POW #2 speaking, shown head and shoulders, silhouetted and superimposed over B/W image of Kerry.
POW #2: ...they would laugh at us...
In the ad, Kerry is shown Speaking to Congress, the audio of his voice is playing against a still picture of him in his fatigues. The audio of his diatribe against American solders in the field is interrupted by videos of several POWs who talk about how his words were painful to them, more painful than their words. They also talk about betrayal, and that these were the exact things they were resisting torture, and being brutalized because they would not sign confessions to. Kerry did it for free.
My take is this is brutal, and if it manages to get any Real Airplay you can stick a fork in Kerry, Hes done.
