I stand in awe. The strategy of the vets is absolutely impeccable. Get the first ad out, along with the book, knowing that it will provoke a firestorm, eventually bringing in the MSM. The MSM is in, obviously with the intent to destroy the vets, but it is in the fray. They took the bait, and the hook is set.
Then, BANG, the second ad, with absolutely undeniable Kerry quotes and absolutely undeniable personal testimony of the effect of the Kerry quotes on human lives. There is no response, except to try to smear the vets some more. And the vets have said that they can stand the heat.
Again, I stand in awe.

Will the liberal media try to smear these POW's like they tried to smear the Swifties?
To: Chaguito
Amen! They can get this ad out without even placing it anywhere because it's news. It's brilliant on their part.

The beauty of this ad is that it CANNOT be refuted. Its not a question of two conflicting accounts where you can come down on one side or the other. The central figure in this ad is Kerry himself saying things for posterity he probably wishes he never said. At the time it sure seemed like a good idea. I just love watching that poseur hoist on his own anti-American petard. Now he'll have to explain why he dishonored America's fighting men more than 30 odd years ago to a national audience. That's what make this ad so devastating is it puts the lie to the notion Kerry backed his fellow veterans after he came home from Vietnam. This is what they call a "home-run" ad!

Vets who have over 60 purple hearts can stand up to Kerry and his 3 purple hearts and one bronze star (am I leaving out any Kerry medals?)

The next straw is ...
Which is Mr. Kerry? Were you lying then or are you lying now, or did YOU commit atrocities?
It is a excellent strategy, played superbly.
Life is good, and getting better.

"I stand in awe. The strategy of the vets is absolutely impeccable."
- Somewhere, in behind the Swift Boat Vet group is someone with a lot of media savvy who has thought this campaign through for a long, long time. I've noticed how quick the Swifties get out their rebuttal press releases almost immediately as soon as the MSM tries to cover for Kerry's lies. It's as if every move has been anticipated and allowed for. Now, with the POW's into the picture at just the point where the MSM have committed themselves to the fray, they have been completely snookered and must either trash the POW's (unthinkable) or slink away.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I too stand in awe. These guys are responsible for one of the most devastating political ads in history. It has to be going much better than they could possibly have hoped for. Awesome!

And the vets have said that they can stand the heat. I hope they are well armed, travel in pairs (or more), and check their cars frequently. Because it may get more than merely hot.
