And these are the same people who screamed that Moore's pile of stinking lies should be shown in theaters everywhere.

B&N in Chesterfield County, VA hides their copies. I refuse to shop there. Congratulations B&N for your liberal marketing efforts, Books A Million loves you man!

I called my local bookstore (very small town, with very limited stock), and they told me they hope to have it by early next week. She said she had numerous calls, and offered to put me on a list. I told her I would try and find a copy over the weekend but if I couldn't find one I would call back.

BTW... I lied about buying one from there next week, because I had already ordered a copy from Amazon (which shipped it out yesterday).

I went to B&N in Fairlawn (Akron) Ohio to order it last night. At the customer service desk I asked for "the book about Kerry, Unfit for Command."

The young guy behind the desk barely began to answer before an older man who looked like a supervisor-type came forward and advised that they were having to take names, they had sold out all their first order and another batch should be in Wednesday next. He went into some explanation about the publisher having to work with distributors, or some such.

He said he would be happy to call me when the book came in, but they had quite a list and the next batch would have to be distributed first come first served. He thought there would be another order to follow in short order the one coming on Wednesday.

I have no idea what this all truly indicates, but the guy was very courteous, almost seemed nervous, as if I might make a scene upon hearing the book was out of stock!
FWIW I have had no trouble in the past ordering Conservative books through this store.
