I have no idea what I saw, much less what you did. I cannot make a judgment call on this.
OTOH, statistics alone puts me in the camp that there is a good probability of life arising elsewhere in this universe. Does that mean I think that aliens visit our planet? Nope. The distances and physics alone diminish that possibility. SETI is still our best chance for detecting another tool building species.
I couldn't agree more with you. Earth is on the far outskirts of the Milky Way. Nevertheless, distance and physics did not seem to factor in regarding our collective sightings!?!
SETI is also rethinking it's search modes and starting to look for laser light beacons. I'll post the article and ping you.
Certainly it's possible to deny the tons of puzzle pieces about what has ALREADY happened.
But from where I sit, SETI is a grand hoax. A ridiculous charade. . . . pretending to grope around for ET's we've been in somewhat of a tortured relationship with--not just dialogue--but relationship with various kinds of 'exchanges' for decades.
I suspect this will begin to come out in the next 5-15 years. It keeps obviously getting closer. And Werner von Braun's assertion that the next war after Iraq and terror would be with ET--could be a very significant clue.
