Some "good" news. The strongest winds are tightly wrapped in the center of the storm. It is 20 miles offshore, but the wind in Captiva is only 20 sustained.

I have noticed that the media hypes these storms, this might be another case of media hype. Winds in bands should be much strong then 20kts with a strong huricane even 50 or 100 miles away.
