I'm 5 miles north of Orlando- we're getting tornado warnings now

I'm 12 miles nortwest of Oralndo. Hearing some wind pick up. I better go check out that tornado curently in SE Orlando.

My friend called me to tell me her brother (who's a university prof, of course) told her the reason it went to Cat. 4 was because the Gulf was soooo warm. Why was the Gulf sooo warm, you guessed it...global warming.

Irony is alot of the folks that evacuated from the Tampa Bay area moved inward to stay in hotels. And since the storm came in south of where they predicted, they are now having more weather than if they had stayed on their homes on the beaches. But that's a hurricane for you...unpredictable.
