Probably already said (I'm not looking through 1400+ posts), but this hurricane is obviously the fault of Bush/Cheney, Halliburton and global warming.

According to some posts, it's because of hating drug dealers at hospitals, or something like that.

Tornado in Narcoossee, FL, approx. 5mi east of Orlando Int'l. (MCO).

My dad lives in Narcoossee. They went to a shelter early as they got hit by the tornados in 1998 and were spooked by this storm.

Guess they made the right call.

I guess the thinking is that you want to keep the emergency supplies CLOSE but not IN the areas most likely to be damaged. How much good would it have been if you had a warehouse full of supplies in Ft. Meyers and then have that warehouse destroyed by the hurricane. Same reason you wouldn't put an ammo dump right on the front lines.

1) People using Charley as supposed Global Warming evidence. And you KNOW it will happen....

2) People claiming it's the result of God "withdrawing his protection" from the US as punishment for legal abortion or quitting the Gold Standard or some other such nonsense. And you know THAT will happen too.
