Not in the last couple of hours.
Very true. This hurricane is going up the I-4 corridor, the strongest Republican area of Florida (along with the panhandle area).
Where is a link to that?
Better put it in the freezer.......LOL>
Crap, it is moving pretty much due north at this point. There's going to be A LOT of flood damage now.
This is so reminiscent of Andrew. It whacked Florida, re-emerged, and then whacked Louisiana. It wasn't satisfied in hurting us once.
Thank you so much!!
Placemarker AND prayers for ALL of you!!!
Probably already said (I'm not looking through 1400+ posts), but this hurricane is obviously the fault of Bush/Cheney, Halliburton and global warming.
What is that URL for the Disney web cam?
Lost in the thread go to like the 130's
Godspeed to you CFC_VRWC. I was just telling my husband I couldn't imagine the thought of worrying about this hitting our area.
Is there a freeper you can call to let them know you're okay so if you lose power we don't worry?
you've got to wonder, if you had warehouses stored with supplies for hurricanes, would you keep them in atlanta? wouldn't you want to keep them in locales more accessible to Florida, and to the SC/NC coastal areas, where they tend to hit?
Guy on the phone got a big laugh from the crew when he said that he gave his wife and dogs valium..
looking like directly over kissimmee in 3 hours.......still very impressive radar signature....eye not filled in yet.
Thunder can still be heard from my house as it goes out to the ocean.
(Also, I want to thank you for all the work you did for FR durring the FL 2000 elections, and sorry it took me so long to post it !!)........Cecil
Almost like the eye is driving up Hwy 17 towards Cypress Gardens, Kissimmee, and Orlando.
I'm from California. What can we reasonably expect if this storm gets up here- flooding and...?
If you're looking at it, why can't you give me the link?
Howlin, whatever you say, don't say that. I went through both and never want to go through another one again. But, I guess living in coastal NC makes that inevitable huh?
