George and Laura Bush to be on with Larry King for the full hour tonight. I don't usually watch LKL because of his lame questions. But it should be interesting.
LOL! And the President answered something about putting his body into the job. I nearly spit on my keyboard!

I think that Laura would like to give Larry a piece of her mind, can see it on her face at times. This was a hard interview to watch. The President and Laura did a very good job.
Same here. The first time I have had this tv tuned in to CNN since the impeachment heartings.
I agree.. but I think he thought he did brilliantly & GWB just avoided direct answers. these people do not look realistically at their own interviews.
Ditto. You don't have to guess what W. is trying to say. He doesn't gratuitously attack his opponent. And he's not an arrongant butthole like Efn 'al Qerry is.
Did he say that, prairie!!! I was typing and missed that part of it.
Oh, that has made my entire night. LOLOLOL
He was totally in charge of that interview. This was NOT a man who had been "prepped". He knows the material cold.
The libs are gonna have a hard time saying he's "removed from the process" after this.
It was hands down the best interview I've ever seen them do!
I have MXC on a different TV.
Yes, you are right they are a Class Act! President Bush and First Lady did a wonderful job!
Larry King is awful. Thankfully, I don't watch him, with this night as an exception.
Agreed, and no Botox and thousand dollar haircuts. Bush is a naturally handsome man, and Laura is the epitome of dignity and grace. They are a stunning couple, gorgeous family.
I agree. Watching this interview was the best antidote for that horrific week of the Democrat convention!
The man third in line to be president is promoting it. This man happens to be a Republican. He's also going to be speaking at the Convention. He did nothing to shield him from demonization from Kerry-- which has already started because of comments Bush made on a sales tax. Bush ran away like he was on fire. He could have offered a simple, brief defense of it. It's not hard. He offered no protection for Hastert-- a leader of the GOP. He let Kerry's demonization go as the truth. "I won't raise taxes, I won't raise taxes. You gotta believe me!" That's not the way to answer that question.
Its obvious that the dems tactic from here on out is to interrupt republicans before they can answer. They are very afraid of the truth. The libs in the media...King, matthews, etc., have gotten the memo.
Let me clarify. He said something about CLINTON putting his heart and body into the job of being President, referring to the comments he made (very gracious comments) to Bill & Hill and those portraits of theirs.
I thought it was a hilarious Freudian slip.LOL

Maybe I should have said second in line, but you know what I meant.
I agree. I've been a loyal FoxNews fan for the last few years. But more and more, I find myself tuning them out as they become more liberally slanted.
I've decided to just surf the news channels, but depend on Free Republic for the REAL news.
Bush did not run from anything. He stated what his answer was to the question when asked by the reporter. And that is what his answer was.
I would love to see Sean Hannity interview our President and Mrs. Bush. He would give them the respect they deserve. He wouldn't treat them as if they were on the witness stand, and I guarantee that Sean would wear his best suit. Would probably buy a new one.
LOL!
