Face it Gramp's, "Hanoi John" is a genuine, insensitive,
Dope. The problem is he thinks everybody is blind.

Also, he thinks because he has gotten by with these lies in Boston and DC for over 3 decades, he still can get by with them.

Thanks for posting this.
I was hoping someone would make it a thread since the first time Meekonegop was able scan it and post it. I don't have the skills to do it.
meekonegop, s.o.l., thanks to Dennis, this is now a thread forever on Free Republic.
Kerry will have this following him the rest of his miserable losing life.

I don't think he's going to get away with it much longer.
The polls shows he might not carry his own state,
let alone the country. An AOL poll, with 34,000 voting
showed Bush winning by a landslide. Forget about the
network polls, because their so insultingly biased.
The same poll results were obtained by WorldNetDaily.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
JOHN KERRY ON 911
John Kerry ran for Congress in 1972.......
Kerry lost that election and became very deeply depressed.
Kerry's next political and professional move was to withdraw and stay home for six months making model airplanes.
Kerry has criticized President George W Bush on 911 for spending seven minutes in a classroom after hearing the second terrorist highjacked jetliner struck the second World Trade Center tower.
John Kerry was in Washington DC on 911 watching the terrorists attack the World Trade Center on TV.
What did Senator John Kerry then do?
"And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office on September 11th, 2001], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building."
"And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon."
"Nobody could think". -- Sen. John Kerry
It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 93 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. By Kerry's own words, he and his fellow senators sat there for forty minutes, realizing "Nobody could think".
When America was attacked on 911 Sen. John Kerry "could not think" and sat for forty (40) minutes paralyzed and impotent and unable to physically or emotionally or mentally function!
US Senator John Forbes Kerry said he "was stunned" and just sat down for forty (40) minutes unable to do anything at all!
Leadership!
"More thoughtful" and "more sensitive" leadership!
Not too "swift" Mr. Heinz-Kerry! |

Kerry thinks he owns the sole Viet Nam War franchise. He's the Pope of the Viet Nam War -- in his own mind. Pope John the Venerable Kerry speaks with unquestionable authority on the Viet Nam War, and only Pope John Kerry may so speak. Once he speaks that's the way it is. Word up!
Not only does he deny the switfties their real memories, because they take away from his franchise's value -- but he earlier denied Coppola's vision of the Viet Nam war. Because Pope Kerry didn't authorize it.

Kerry's Swift Boat to this spot in Cambodia.
To: dennisw
Kerry says that "On more than one occasion" he took his "patrol boat into Cambodia." Based on Navy and DoD records, it should be fairly easy to "show" when Kerry undertook each of these trips, for how long each lasted, who went with him, and for what purpose. Let's see the records.

What is the mental illness that these people have where they have vivid recollections of life-changing events that never happened? They have to know that they are lying when they first make up the story, then they repeat it so often it likely becomes like the truth to them. Later, when exposed, they are indignant.
Well if it was so important back then that you needed to lie about it to make your point, then it ust be important enough now to expose the lie. These lies were used to damage America.
The real event is that he lied about it in the first place in order to further his own anti-American agenda. The facts were not enough to make his case, so he made up a new set of facts. And since people believed him, his lies were used to shape anti-vet feelings in this country, as well as hurting our stature in the world.
Despicable.

"...can you get the words in the scan to come out clearly enough to read?"
Yep! I set my printer to 'text and images' and made other fine control selections. There is some blur, but photocopies made from my downloaded copy are still legible and unmistakably damning. My favorite part (after his usual gassy bravdo and shop-worn lies) is when he accuses Coppola of "not know[ing] where to stop."
Thanks!

This same article was scanned and posted at the instapundit blog but the scan quality was atrocious. Could not read any of the text at all. The original file that S.O.L. sent me was really huge - it showed to be 2MB and around 2200 pixels wide as I recall. So I took it my PhotoDeluxe software and trimmed the pic and then reduced it to 60% of the original size dimensionally (Height & Width). It was still really wide, so I chopped it into two parts so it wouldn't mess up folks FR pages here when posted. PhotoDeluxe got it down to around .360MB, not too terribly huge.

Great job, Gentlemen!
Another example of the synergy of Free Republic.
I have the feeling that some Freeper with some incredible scanner will step in and be able to scan this to look like the original Newspaper article.
In the meantime I'm sending emails out with links to this thread. I sent a few last night, and I have positive response back from some of the people, this morning.
