Basically the main topic was whether the other Swift Boat people would have been considered as "serving" with John Kerry.
Lt Col Bill Cowan who served on a Swift Boat said "Absolutely!" In FACT, someone on another boat might be able to BETTER see what was going on on Kerry's boat than the men on the boat themselves because they have a panoramic view of the scene.
I heard that segment but they brushed it off as "near" Cambodia. I think we should make sure Brit gets an email about the Washpost article from 2003 which is on Kerry's website showing the contradiction. I think they may let it die if they get the impression as Brit indicated today that the speech were he mentioned Cambodia was from 1986. It of course makes it even more relevant that Kerry was VERY RECENTLY making this false claim.
Brit should point this out.
I can't get involved in this. The only time the Navy and Marines are friendly is when they're beating on the Army.
It's not only that, it's the Dems cynical manipulation of the masses. They believe that the majority don't have a moral core, can be talked into understanding errors of the heart or judgment or drawn in as sympathizers to victims. This is why they can ask, straight faced, does it really matter if John Kerry lied about being in Cambodia. Well yes it does matter, the context matters, the fact he stood in the Senate and used that information to manipulate people and underline a point about the President of the United States lying to an entire country. How in the hell can't that matter and yet they wonder.
No one has mentioned the new one yet.
Abbu Gahraib pales in comparison to the types of atrocities Kerry described. Bring it on, let them wail about how bad Abbu Gahraib is.
Tie it into Kerry---how can he be Commander In Chief when he has admittted to committing atrocities? Why is he not being prosecuted?
What Senator Kerry? Lied you say? Oh, I get it, you committed atrocities after he didn't commit atrocities.
Seems to be a lose, lose situation.

Listening to replay of O'Reilly's radio program. He said he's "staying away" from the SBV story. Make no mistake, he's a FOK (Friend of Kerry), and cannot do any objective reporting on this.

I understand the frustration we all feel with O'Reilly, but I am honestly expecting him to do a 180 on this story sometime in the next week or so.
When he does, he will have more credibility with the public than he would have if he had jumped on board instantly.
