What I am upset about is a story I heard all day on WBBM radio:
Rosemont had a hazmat situation that closed an area perimeter due to something in the DesPlaines River at Touhy they had been following from River Grove! And I have looked on a dozen sites and nothing!
They were in a quandry as to what it was, where it originated from blah-blah
The Rosemont/Des Plaines River thing was for a "suspicious substance" in the river. I caught the end of it on the scanner. It was an algae bloom, quite natural! You should have heard the Rosemont fire officials voice when he was given the test results. A real "You've got to be kidding..." tone in his voice.
The poop story was big news all day. I heard some commentators wondering if it was the poop tanks released from one of the "rock band" tour buses. Snoop-Doggy was in town and they were joking that it could have been "Snoop poop".
I didn't hear *anything* about a hazmat at Rosemont!
