Have to disagree. the drawing is obviously not a great map, but the jut on the jihadi N. Dakota is actually in Minneosta. It appears the land at the end might be the upper peninsula of Michigan or Wisconsin or rep. of both.

I see what you mean. I was just going with my initial feeling...based on an area that I am familiar with.
But the image in the drawing does convey that they have an idea of how and where to get access to the U.S.

IMHO right now with the current information: I think you are all right (all who commented on the pic location). After looking at various geo survey maps, it looks to me like it is a rough semblance of the entire U.S. northern border -- stretching all the way from Washington to the top of Maine. But they really compressed the border especially from Minnesota to Maine. I guess they don't know how to draw; they are not artistic! It looks like a map that we would all draw freehand of the northern border if the nooks and crannies and scale of the portrayal were not crucial. Perhaps?

Re- Map and northern state. Isn't Michigan the state with the enormous influx of Muslims?

I tend to agree with your view on this one, but it sure isn't an exact match.
I've been checking other parts of the world on maps and can't come up with any closer match.

Looks like you are right. I didn't even catch that it was a map below the writing myself till I saw it posted here.
