Yeah, it does sound like a big jump over a short period. I bet you are right with oil affecting it to some degree. Thanks for the updates.

You know...if gold is consistently high and stocks seem to be going up, either stocks or gold will have to flinch. In this scenario, a positive stock price and positive gold run up could mean that the "big boys" (in stocks) are trying to prepare their positions (to stick it to the small investor) before they pull everything out and stock crash. Let's see if this is the case this time.

I have never been concerned over gold, But do want to keep up with it. I know a lady and all she and her friend's do is play the gold game everyday. I am talking big money enough between them all to change the flow. (apply tin foil if needed) This is true story! They will sell today and make kziollions on the gold they already own, then it will go down and the will buy over and over and over it goes.

Anyway what I want to your opinion on is this. Our dollar is down which is good we are buying imports at lower prices including the whole world. Now oil is only sold by the dollar and the EU'ers are trying to change that. China refuses to lower their currency. Russia is setting over there with all natural resources but they are squeezing the oil company's?
What are the possibility of the oil going to the Euro?
