That's a distinct possibility. The call would go out here as well. I'd bet that there are some specific goals and plans that they have in mind in conjunction with the "Mother of all Jihads".

No, I think you're right on that one. A "kill shot" is the only scenario that makes sense. For them to have any chance of actually crippling us, we'd have to be badly damaged inside our own borders. Infrastructure pulverized, populace in a full panick mode, and massive deaths. Something like that could turn the tide for them, possibly even encourage our more historical adversaries of the Chicoms and Ivan to possibly rolling the dice for a solid piece of the action in divvying up the booty associated with our demise. IF the "Reds" calculated they would not suffer nuclear destruction I think they might "go for it." I also think, this wouldn't necessarily translate into a situation we know as Armageddon.

The United States of America isn't mentioned anywhere in the Book of Revelations. We Americans are so self centered that we figure that if we get defeated, it just has to be TEOTWAWKI.

As this plays out (according to God's own timing) I am coming to believe that for the eschatology of the end times to progress, we as a nation must be removed from the scene. I can't imagine a figure such as the coming World Leader who must arise from the new European Empire, would be able to act in the manner that has been foretold IF he must somehow respect the USA as a superior force.
