Suspicious Truck Halts Traffic (Philadelphia - 8/18/04 Additional Info.)
Aug 18, 2004 9:44 am US/Eastern PHILADELPHIA (KYW) Officials are investigating the contents of a suspicious truck on the Broad Street off ramp of I-95 after the driver allegedly asked for directions to Philadelphia International Airport.
CBS 3 has been told the driver who claims to be a Trinidad national asked for directions to the airport. The person he reportedly asked called police to incident.
The truck was stopped just after 7 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound side closing the ramp and snarling area traffic from the ramp to Pattison Avenue.
The truck was reportedly carrying chemicals and computer parts. The investigation is ongoing.
