The HAZMAT thing at Union Station had zero follow up. CFD packed up and left, no other investigators were called, cops all left the scene too, so probably nothing there. But the spooky thing is they sent "antidote kits" to every single fire house yesterday. And each house had to send a unit to go get it. Why couldn't they have delivered it? They deliver supplies every day.
The big boom you heard in the wee hours of Tuesday, if you haven't heard yet, was a meteorite that made it through the upper atmosphere, broke the sound barrier and then blew apart before hitting the ground. Some reports of small fragments hitting houses just to our west in Norridge, Harwood Heights and Park Ridge.
