"Towns with ancient names."

My first thought, could it be they choose names that are
words that are known to them?

When i retired, a move was a thought, and I would not have
chosen a name that I didn't like.

Cedar City, Utah was considered. City of Industry, Calif,
would never have gotten a first look.

If I was nuts, I would want to be the ruler of Athens, not
Nelsonville.

Weak first cup of coffee thoughts.

Either that or there are far more cities/towns/villages etc. with ancient names than I ever realized. LOL!
