I'm talking about basics, Bobibutu. I should have explained better. Most everyone here knows my position on PC and where my loyalties lie.
This is what I meant:
Simple things like allowing the Border Patrol to do their job. Securing the borders. Firing Norman Mineta. Ignoring political concerns where security is involved.
It's the PC disease I'm talking about; the one that seems to have handcuffed our ability to properly prioritize.
I have no intention or desire to demean the efforts of those who do their jobs and do it well; I wish only to remove the handcuffs.

Your points are well taken and I agree with you - PC is the threat within.
We need to have leaders who are willing to take the gloves off.
When the "goat-herder" got shot and killed on the border a couple of years back - well it's been downhill since.
Just saw a very interesting piece on this very subject HS, with Pay sitting in for Joe. A unique approach in handling CongressCritter's and their apathy and that of this administration on our border jumpers.

John & Ken have now set a deadline for Congressman David Dreier to come on the show for a full hour. The deadline is set for Friday the 13th at 5pm. Now, in case you have been living under a rock, you should know that we have had four of the top five Congressional members on the show for a full hour. Congresswoman Mary Bono actually stayed for a second hour to take phone calls. The next step is to have you the listener listen once again to the interviews from the show and then take another poll. You will have to choose one from the top five candidates from the last poll.
The candidates, and the percentage of the vote they received are as follows:
1) David Dreier - 52%
2) Chris Cox - 13%
3) Mary Bono - 10%
4) Darrell Issa - 6%
5) Dana Rohrabacher - 4%
We here at the John & Ken Show will continue to try and get Congressman Dreier on the phone, but maybe if he receives a few hundred phone calls from our listeners he might be more willing to come on.
