Dr. Bill is about the best "real source of information" that
we have available to the public.
I have listened when I can get the station, for 30 years.
If a 6 or 7 (or any age) child phones, he answers their
questions, tells them to read lots of books and to call anytime they have a question.
He was in England, at the U.S. Military base, watching the satellite pictures of Saddam when he gassed his people, yes
they were watching as it happened.
I don't always agree with him, but do pay attention to the
things he tells us.
He is correct, it it comes to a big happening, it is better
to stay put, then to be trapped in traffic and that if you
have a gun, you had better be prepared to use it.
He says that when the big one comes, it will be a mess, that
there will be no safe place and no food.
But I think we know that.

It's good to verbalize what we "know" because reviewing information keeps it fresh. I've never heard Dr. Bill's shows, but I wish I had.

There are a couple of EXCELLENT books out for retreat survival by one of my favorite authors, a guy who has truly BTDT. His name is
Ragnar Benson. How to Live Off the Land in the City or the Country
Survival Poaching
Man Trapping
The Most Dangerous Game
Ragnar's Encyclopedia of Practical Knowledge
Another excellent book is: To Break a Tyrant's Chains by Duncan Long.
These should all be available from Paladin Press and I know they have a good website. Do a google.

Ruth, please post to us if you can what Dr. Bill says about nukes this evening. I know I cannot tune into his show here on the east coast.
