Anyone else worried about the absence of terror news and chatter the past several days? It's almost eerie silence which "I" am uncomfortable with because tomorrow is 8/15

Not only that JP, but the number of postings on this thread today is drastically reduced too. Hopefully things will pick up a bit tonight. It's around 100 degrees here and hard to sit at the computer in our non-air-conditioned house for any length of time. Hoping our Florida Freepers are getting through all of the storms okay and there's no flooding affecting them.

I had noticed the chatter seems to have dropped off a bit of late. I presumed it just a case of many here being somewhat preoccupied with Charlie (which is totally understandable, especially if you or family live in Florida!). However, even the fake jihadis seem a bit quiet.

One observation I have made is that Bin Laden/al Zawahiri tapes often seem to surface on a Sunday or Monday night. I'll be looking out for anything on the news tonight. Maybe they think they can have the maximum impact on the stock market that way?
