PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (AP) Florida county emergency official says Hurricane Charley has claimed "a number of fatalities" at a mobile home park.

Cuban Jose Miguel Lopez (R), 78, stands next to his neighbor Alberto (front) who is holding a picture of Lopex when he was three years old, after they had found it underneath the rubble of Jose Miguel's destroyed home in Baracoa beach, August 13, 2004. Carrying sustained winds of 110 mph, Hurricane Charley hammered Cuba overnight before moving into the Florida Straits on a path that would take it ashore later on Friday near Tampa Bay. Three people died in Havana during the hurricane and four people were injured.
