The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

I don't think they just want to interfere with the election process. I think they want to stop it.

I've seen a couple of others on FR say the same thing. One poster, can't remember now who, has said that he thinks AQ wants to use our own Constitution to do us in, and the poster believes the way to do that is through stopping the election. He wouldn't go into detail, but from reading the Constitution myself a bit now, I can see how it would be possible, if people in certain positions of power are removed, not just the one at the top either. At the very least, it would cause months of confusion.

I started thinking about this last month when it was reported in Newsweek and elsewhere that DHS requested that the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel look into whether and how the election could be postponed in the event of a terrorist attack. It seemed fishy to me that an attack on the order of 9-11 would require a delay in the election and started me thinking that specific people, not buildings, were the next target.

What about from a ship? What if a ship were two bows (approx mile) out could they launch something that would hit the convention? I had dreamn't the other day that two bows = two ships. I saw two big ships under a high bridge. The bridge was like an arch. I am wondering if the arch is the trajectory path of whatever they have. The sketch had an arch but with a plane. I am just trying to rack my brain here.

Al-Qaeda to Hit Athens, Bulgarian Cell Alert - Report

Islamic radical organizations are ready to attack Athens during the Olympic Games, according to reports.

They wait for activation order of the Al-Qaeda leadership in Iran to conduct the attacks, US newspaper "Defense & Foreign Affairs" said.

The paper added that the attacks would be led by the Kosovo's Albanians.
