"Kerry's Cambodia Christmas lie" As reported by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth group, through their lawyers letter sent to the television station managers regarding the Swifties anti-Kerry ad... and now reported on DRUDGE... John Kerry has been caught in yet another Vietnam whopping lie. Here is John Kerrys statement, on record, from the Senate Floor in 1986: I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia. I remember what it was like to be shot at by the Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians, and have the president of the United States telling the American people that I was not there; the troops were not in Cambodia. I have that memory which is seared--seared--in me. But Kerrys Navy chain of command say it never happened. And at least 3 of the 5 crew members from Kerrys swift boat -- Bill Zaldonis, Steven Hatch, and Steve Gardner -- deny that they or their boat were ever in Cambodia. Kerrys own biography, Tour of Duty, doesnt even mention it. Its replaced with a story about a mortar attack that occurred on Christmas Eve 1968 near the Cambodian border in a town called Sa Dec and says Kerry spent Christmas day 1968 at the base writing journal entries. So, just what is searedseared in John Kerry? It looks like some really big whoppers are searing Johns conscience. |

Everyone knows that the book is coming out tomorrow?
Call your local bookstore, and make sure they have it.

this guy's only got so many partially original thoughts in him. but "seared memories" is definitely one of them; he dropped that one in every dem debate during the primaries, I can only assume that he will have searing memories in the debates against W, too. some wiseacre in the GWB campaign needs to come up with a comeback to all of the searing that he's doing.

there's a parody to made out of "A Christmas Kerry", with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, but I don't have the time to put it down.

If this were a "normal" election season this guy would be done by the end of the week. Alas...the MSM is in the bag and the left wing liberal surrender monkeys will brush this off via the DNC talking points. The only good that can come of this is the fact of Lurch being caught in a big lie and the "swing" voters move to Bush in enough numbers to keep this head case out of the oval office.

"I have that memory which is seared--seared--in me."Wasn't the memory of those nonexistent burning Black churches searred--seared--in Bill Clinton?

Great stuff!
I bet Kerry is losing sleep over someone from his past. That persons name is John O'Neill.

LOL. Now we have (at least)
three possible scenarios for Kerry on Christmas Eve 1968
- Kerry was five miles across the Cambodian border being shot at by South Vietnamese allies
- Kerry was in Cambodia, being shot at by Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians
- Kerry was in bed, writing some hot new fiction .
