Tune into Savage NOW to hear Kerry's swiftboat machine gunner
savage.com | none

Whatever you usually think of him, tune into Savage live now!

He's spending the show (again) on getting the swiftboat vets story out there. His guest will be, for the second time, the machine gunner who served with John Kerry on his boat. Steve Gardner, I believe is his name.

Also, Savage is expressing his disappointment with Fox News, specifically O'Reilly, for spiking this story and essentially calling the veterans liars. Savage says it's because O'Reilly wants to get John Kerry on his show.

John Gibson on O'Reilly's radio show, and Tony Snow on the "No Spin Zone".

I think Bush would like these guys to go away since they interfere with the planned campaign and their presence side tracks it

I think Brit Hume and Tony Snow probably think they same thing and are trying to get the situation on the back burner

I disagree in that these guys deserve the right to be heard Snow and Hume didn't get their butts in harms way and these guys did BUT I don't think FOX has sold out but is trying to get this controversy off the scene and Bush's campaign back on according to plan

Anyway that is my take

Does anyone know if Savage had Gardner back on the second hour of the show...like he suggested?

Can somebody give me a light rundown of what was said..

KSKY cut to Hugh Hewitt...they don't carry the last hour of Savage I guess.

"I thought Tony Snow filled in for O'Reilly tonight?"

I thought they were asking about the radio show today, which was Gibson. For TV, you're right, it was Snow.

"So why don't we ask Kerry to sign the CF-180 records release form at the next Kerry rally?...Besides the media asked Bush to release all his military records."

Indeed. The A.P. filed an action to require that President Bush release all his military records. This was met. Why has NOT the A.P. proceeded with an action to require that Kerry release all HIS military records?????

Hmmm I just found that he did do 2 tours, the first was aboard the USS gridely in the tonkin gulf. no battle involved

February 9, 1968 – USS Gridley departs for a Western Pacific (WESTPAC) deployment, to engage in operations in support of the Vietnam War. Ship spends time in the Gulf of Tonkin off North Vietnam, at Subic Bay in the Philippines and in Wellington, New Zealand.

May 27, 1968 – USS Gridley sets sail for the US.

June 6, 1968 – Kerry arrives in Long Beach the day after Senator Robert F. Kennedy is killed in Los Angeles.

From Kerry's own website. It is stretching it to call about four or five weeks in the Gulf of Tonkin on plane duty a "tour." It is just like all the other exaggerations of fact in Kerry's mind.

OK, that makes some sense to me. They should just let the vets say what they want to say and let it take its own course from there. There's no need for the GOP to criticize the vets. They've been slandered and they want to clear their own good names.

"Those Legs are the Vets themselves.

They've been shot down by the media consistently but they kept at it. The media can't take these guys down. They've got steel rods implanted in their backs."

Well said. Those steel rods are their spines.

Can Free Republic fine a Freedom of Information Act Request on John Kerry for all his records?
The AP filed one against Bush...

Heck...maybe I'll file one myself.
