"We have been very clear in stating that, you know, we will not and we have not and we will not question Senator Kerry's service in Vietnam," spokesman Scott McClellan said as US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) made a campaign stop here. Translation - IF the RATs can benefit from MoveOn's efforts, yet claim to not be involved, then turnaround is very much FAIR PLAY! We didn't pay for it, so we can't really do anything about it (wink-wink, snicker -snicker).

Pardon the caps, but WHAT A CRAP HEADLINE!!!!
The Whitehouse did NOT "repudiate" the ad. They merely said that this is what your campaign finance reform has wrought.
Media a**holes!!!

That's not a repudiation of the ad. It's an objection to all the ads not coming from the campaign or party.

"We have been very clear in stating that, you know, we will not and we have not and we will not question Senator Kerry's service in Vietnam," Nor should they. The only folks that can question his service are those who served with him. Edwards made it clear that we should ask those folks.

Another LIE FROM THE COMMUNIST FRENCH AFP:

Huh? When? Where?
To: Dan from Michigan
So....where's the part where the White House "repudiates" the ad?

Okay... someone help me here:
"White House repudiates" = "White House distanced itself" = "we will not question."
Ummmm.....
To: Dan from Michigan
this might be a translation issue: but how many Americans know what the word repudiate means?

The White House repudiated ALL unregulated soft money ads.
They did NOT single this one out.

The AFP title is pure BS.

White House repudiates anti-Kerry ad A deceptive headline. They did not repudiate the ad at all, simply said that they were not going to question Senator Kerry's service in Viet Nam. They said nothing about the White House position on attacks made by others.

There was another thread that repudiates the lie that the WH repudiated the Swiftvets.
Basically, the Bush administration gave the Swiftvets the green light and stepped out of the way.
Nice try, liberal media, but you're not going to discourage conservatives.

"We have been very clear in stating that, you know, we will not and we have not and we will not question Senator Kerry's service in Vietnam," spokesman Scott McClellan saidLOL. That's hardly a "repudiation." Just a little distancing.
The Bush team has no need to question Kerry's service because his fellow servicemen are shredding it into confetti. Will the Bush team drop that confetti along with balloons at the Repub convention?

noting that none of the men levelling the accusations served on Kerry's boat. None of them, to my knowledge, has claimed to have served on Kerry's "boat." They were, however, all in the same unit, and knew Kerry personally.

I didn't hear them say to SVFT to stop running it.
This is just to shut the vultures up in the MSM.
I love it.
