True, but in reality in something as potentially big as this, you retain expert outside counsel in this sort of thing, before you even start the book.

I do believe that Ted Olson is available at the moment.  I would love to see him go toe to toe with John F'n Kerry's lawyers.  The man deserves his rest, but I bet he'd jump at this one.  Too close to the President to be wise, but a sweet thought, none the less.

So, how many good trial lawyers are there out in the world that aren't totally in bed with Kerry/Edwards?  Many of the really good lawyers who helped with the Florida recount fight ended up with White House appointments of one sort or another ("progressive news" hit piece: Bush's Florida Strategists Land Plum Jobs in D.C.), so most of them are out.  Who else?

Do you think Johnny Cochrane might take the case? <G>
