That has as much clout as saying someone who served in the same company as Kerry but wasn't in his Humvee is unqualified to comment on Kerry's fitness as a soldier, had he been in the Army.

These men were witnesses to Kerry's service. They saw what they saw. What difference does it make whether or not they were under Kerry's command? Either they're telling the truth or thet are not.

We have yet to hear any specific denials from Kerry.

The letter also says that the doctor in the ad claiming he treated Kerry is lying and didn't treat Kerry.

It should be pretty easy for Kerry to show he is lying if that is the case. Produce your medical records that document who treated you Kerry!
