Just like his role model, blubba. Hey, it kept blubba in the WH for eight years.
Both apply to Kerry alright
With this pre-emptive strike, the creators of the ad may not need to pay for it getting aired at all. Imagine, national coverage without spending a dime.
As an aside, do you think that perhaps Kerry is overmatched in this campaign? I mean, here's a guy who has gotten re-elected in the predominantly Democratic and liberal state of Massachusetts, going up against George "Strategery" Bush, and the bare-fisted brawler from Texas, Karl Rove.....I just think that Team Bush is giving Kerry plenty of rope to hang himself.
In Rush's closing segment he said that he just received a story or document saying that lawyers for both the Kerry and Edwards teams were sending out letters to TV stations warning them about showing the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth advertisement!
Thanks for the post and ping, folks! :^)
But the original sin, if you will, was when the dems chose kerry for their presidential candidate, knowing what they knew about his record.
Ghastly choice.
I wonder how Michael Moore likes this?? LOL!!
Looks as if Kerry is questioning the service and the patriotism of Vietnam Vets. Imagine that.
Not to mention the ads connecting Republicans to black churches buring.
Choking. Tears in my eyes. Couldn't be better.
Gotta put a bonus box of rice in there now.
You are about to be sued for calling Kerry a nazis.
Hillary is ready and waiting.
The letter also says that the doctor in the ad claiming he treated Kerry is lying and didn't treat Kerry.
It doesn't actually say that. What it says, in regards to the doctor, is:
Further, the "doctor" who appears in the ad, Louis Letson, was not a crewmate of Senator Kerry's and was not the doctor who actually signed Senator Kerry's sick call sheet. In fact, another physician actually signed Senator Kerry's sic call sheet. Letson is not listed on any document as having treated Senator Kerry after the december 2, 1968 firefight. Moreover, according to news accounts, Letson did not record his "memories" of the incident until after Senator Kerry became a candidate for President in 2003. (National Review Online, May 4,2004).
The statements made by the phony "crewmates" and "doctor" who appear in the advertisement are also, totally, demonstrably and unequivocally false, and libelous...
So what they say is that he didn't sign the "sick call sheet." That's far from saying he didn't treat Kerry. They want to leave the impression that signing the sick call sheet is the true issue.
They also charge that he wasn't a "crewmate" of Kerry. This is the big charge against all of the Swift Boat Veteran's for Truth, that they weren't his "crewmates" and therefore aren't qualified to speak about his service. Well, since Kerry was the commander of his boat the only people who were his crewmates were his subordinates. Assuming that the only people qualified to judge someone are his subordinates is like only asking Al Capone's gang for their opinions of Scarface.
The Swift Boat Veteran's for Truth have never claimed that they were his crewmates. They were his peers, the commanders of the other Swift Boats in the squadron who served with Kerry, who went on missions in close quarters with Kerry and who participated in and witnessed his actions in the field as well as his character when in their company.
I, for one, think that these men are imminently qualified to judge his actions in Vietnam.
Band of Liars,Lawyers and Losers.....Kerry's butt buddies!
