While Mc Cain was living the good life at the hilton in hanoi. These guys were have to put up with Idiot on a boat.If they want to run an add about john kerry i say go gettem guys.Ye reap what you sow.
Did McCain defend Bush against the charges of F9/11?
Did he call on the Kerry campaign to denounce the film?
Hey McLame - How about a nice steaming cup of shut the *uck up!
He's probably afraid that McCain's skeletons will come out of the closet again. The truth hurts and nobody wants their feelings to get hurt.
The McCain-Kerry connection:

Ya know, I had a feeling this would happen, but I feel this is just posturing being done to publicly condemn the ads but secretly endorse their ideas. I see the Bush administration doing the same thing, though I hope he doesn't.
I agree. Every mention of this we can get will be good.
Bush should say, "While I cannot stop those who served with John Kerry in Vietnam from telling their stories, I do NOT endorse what they are saying. They are speaking only for themselves and not for the BUSH Campaign."
That would just be MORE PUBLICITY!!!
Don't knock McCain. If it weren't for his dumbass campaign finance reform illusion, it would be harder for the Bush campaign to completely dissassociate itself with the ad. Now they can. And McCain commenting about it just keeps the issue at the forefront, and shows how worthless his CFR really is. And in the meantime, the Kerry campaign finds itself off message responding to an attack at the very core (the only core) of Kerry's campaign theme. I'm not sure this ad will help Bush, but I very much doubt it will help Kerry.
So it's ok to question Bush's military record but not Kerry's??
I think your in the Wrong party Senator!!
Good, rather than dealing with the substance, the liberal media now has its process story they can run with, ie the ad is unfair and so says McCain , but at least they will give it play. Not ideal but they will not ignore it to death either.
And McCain, of all people, is this guy's buddy. Strange.
Sorry Sen. McCain, but just as in a courtroom, Kerry opened up that line of questioning with the performance on his last day of the convention. Where is your outrage at what Kerry is doing with his Vietnam record?
Two questions for McCain...are you campaigning for Bush or Kerry? Were you in the Swift Boat or not? If your answers are Bush, and NO, then shut the hell up!!!!
John Edwards suggested we judge Kerry by talking to the vets. Is that now a 'no-no'?
Is this more of McCain's "Rope-a-Dope?"
Stand aside while a man runs for President of The United States of America on a lie he has perpetuated? He is not a saint because he served his country. I could not even fault him (well, maybe a little bit) if he got there, got scared, and said "I want to go home, I cannot take it."
The measure of his character as a veteran are his actions while serving. He opened the door to scrutiny by focusing on his short stint in Viet Nam instead of his Senate record. He chose to ignore his actions after Viet Nam and has yet to address the effect it had on our Vets who are still suffering today because of how we, as a nation let them down when they returned home.
If John McCain or the Mainstream Press tries to silence these men and all of the other veterans who speak out, then we as a nation will have let these men down again.
I can remember the hate in the air as if it was yesterday. Soldiers were baby-killers, cops were pigs, and Republican Conservatives were right there next to Satan. My question to Viet Nam Vets on another thread bears repeating here:
Looking back to that time in your life, the day you came home, What would you have given to hear a spontaneous round of applause in an airport just because you served?
How much easier ould it have been for you to put your Viet Nam service to rest had the nation welcomed you back as heros instead of scum?
Thank you for serving our country during some of the most difficult days our nation has faced.
McCain is just sKerred that HIS record in Viet Nam will come out.
