You and some others have let your hatred for Alan overcome any good sense you may have.

Alan Keyes is just a politician, just like all the other ones; no worse, no better; he's not important enough to hate.

Does it make you feel good to continually post that crap? It sure makes you look petty.

I'd be happy to see the numbers EV! If Dr. Keyes accepts I will volunteer and I told that to the Illinois GOP!

Alan Keyes is NO Goldwater.Heck, Barry Goldwater, after he lost, was NO Goldwater.

Keyes will do less than nothing to help the GOP in Ill.and even less than that, for the Conservative movement.

All the Ill. GOP is doing now,is trying to fill an empty spot on the ticket.

Well, if I had it my way the 17th amendment would be repealed and the state legislatures would appoint the senators as the founders intended. Doubt they'd be appointing many carpetbaggers, but I could be wrong. In the meantime, the Dems have lowered the bar again and we'd be fools to allow them exclusive advantage. Keyes is an articulate ultra conservative and would make an excellent senator. I can imagine him debating in the Senate from a constitutionalist point of view. Wouldn't that be nice for a change. We'd be lucky to get him there.

Hatred for Connie Hair, actually.

Great. Glad someone finally sourced it.

Was it that quote exactly, or Alan saying that he struggled with the decision?

Nope,it'll only make Obama's star shine brighter and rise faster, when he defeats Alan handily.

He'll deal with anyone who tries to call him an out-of-towner.

You misunderstand me. I'm not unhappy because other people will characterize him as an out-of-towner. I'm unhappy because he *is* an out of towner. And we wouldn't need an out-of-towner if the state party wasn't a joke, and if the national party wasn't writing off the state.

I think the operative saying is, "Well, if you want to play that way..."

Let me finish it for you, please.

...then you're just like them."

Or at least that's what we would have said until tonight.

He is a long-shot but I tell you I would rather bet on the long shot then the chalk. And I have won with the long shots.

Tell me if I'm being too cynical, but I believe the RINO leadership would sabotage Keyes if necessary to prevent him from actually winning. Keyes is toast.

BTW, I also believe a little birdie told Fitzgerald that if he ran again, the RINO leadership would back his opponents.

I know how happy that would make y'all, but I wouldn't plan the party just yet.

"Does it make you feel good to continually post that crap?"

You might want to consider signing off and getting a good night's sleep, as you are getting nastier with each post to someone, and a bit foul also. But then, that's just you.

By any means necessary.

Sorry. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but sometimes we have to face the truth. Keyes doesn't have a chance against Obama.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Do you believe the RINO leadership wants Keyes to win?
