The husband of a missing pregnant woman told a "reliable citizen witness" in the psychiatric ward that he killed his wife as she slept before throwing her body in a trash bin, according to a court filing.
The statement, released Tuesday by the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department, also says investigators found human blood on a knife in the bedroom of Mark Hacking's apartment and on their bed's headboard and a bedrail.
Blood found in the bedroom matched traces of blood found in Lori Hacking's car, according to the statement.
Mark Hacking was arrested Monday on a charge of aggravated murder, two weeks after he said his wife failed to return from a morning jog. He has not been formally charged and is being held without bail.
Statistically that is a long, long, long shot. It rarely works as a defense. And you have a lot of premeditation and a massive cover up.

The condemmed has to make a choice:
Firing squad or the noose.

Sandy Burglar's case is a CRIMINAL one....get real, he WILL be gotten.
Firing squad has been eliminated in Utah within the past several years. Some inmates who had requested it prior to the new law get "grandfathered" in, so to speak. I believe all new death penalty sentences are lethal injection.

Some people can actually multi-task and have several trains of thought going at one time. Some of us realize that Sandy Burglar has nothing to do with Lori Hacking and vice versa. If you want to post on a Sandy Burglar thread, I'll meet you there! This particular thread is not about that, nor for the linear thinking, obviously.
It was actually eliminated because they believed that some inmates were choosing it as a way to gin up lots of controversy and media attention in their final hours, and thought that it made martyrs out of men who were being executed for horrible crimes.
Two freaks do not represent an entire generation. I know more men this age that have NOT killed their wives.

Yes, it is strange....but psychotic? No. Lots of people lie about smoking, degrees, jobs, applications to medical school and WORK AT A MENTAL HOSPITAL. The guy knows what psychotic looks like......but he started acting too late. I hope he rots.

What if he told a staff member that wasn't a doctor? That would classify. Heck he could have told the janitor in the psych ward. If one suffers from depression does that make one less reliable?
