Usually I have to suffer, in walking speed traffic, through about 3 or 4 "war is not the answers" , and a few "impeach Bush' or Kerry/Edwards stickers.
Sometimes I get a glimpse of the driver so I can see the face of the enemy
Today was refreshing! Traffic was light and I saw ONLY Bush stickers, from Canoga park all the way to Long Beach !
Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Being in california, you learn to deal with the constant liberal hatred; it's only natural that they'd pass this on to their kids (it's a shame). I don't get too upset about liberals flipping me off, on occasions it's even a good thing; it means they are paying attention. :o)
I am seeing more and more Bush bumper stickers here in Southern California also.
That's the million dollar question, doug; personally, I think they've all bought into the "me-isms" and "don't be judgmental" psycho-babble that the socialist educators have shoved down our youths throats for the past 20 years.
Those who don't comply (a/k/a those who have rational standards (based on something other than their whimful, subjective standards), think independently, and disagree with their behavior and ideas, are labeled "troublemaker" or "radical rightwinger".
The leftie liberals are selfish and prideful, unable to think critically or independently, are intolerant of anyone/anything different (which, ironically, happens to be extremely judgmental)....and what's worse, they are either blind to or find excuses for their own selfish, prideful, intolerant, judgmental, and shameful displays of behavior.

I have to say, Doug is not exagerating when he says that his bumber stickers are "fairly large". They are HUGE! and they are on a white background attached to a black vehicle. He 'sticks it in their face' (I love it). I can see how a stone-cold liberal would want to execute a reaction, but having children flip the bird on the freeway! That's a little much.
I had a (lone) idiot do something similar to me once. He decided his little Chevy wasn't big enough to play bumper cars with my SUV.

I really would like to set up a lefty scumbag. But I don't want to do it with my new car. If a vehicle parked in front of a DNC office with BUSH stickers, I really do believe that within a few hours something would happen. If a camera were set up and someone happened to get caught, it would be a good gotcha.
I overheard a man talking to his son in a bookstore in Marin on a Saturday morning a few years ago. I'm convinced that poor little boy will grow up to be a Republican. If he survives the psychological abuse.

This should be a surprise, but sadly, it isn't. Afterall, look what their kind teaches in the schools. Look at the hideous, destructive behavior they're encouraging. Look at the hate they espouse in the name of "multiculturalism." When you think about it, it's really no surprise at all.

Sometimes I really feel anxious about the President's safety. If President Bush gets reelected this year, who knows what these disappointed Marxist freaks might try to do to disrupt American safety and security?

I missed the event due to a family orange alert.
A similar incident happened only it was a bunch of Bush supporter youngins' giving the -inger to a VW with a peace sign and a bumper sticker, "Bush Lied". Even though we wouldn't condone that kind of behavior by our children, I must confess we were somewhat amuzed. Emotions are bound to elevate between now and the election. You did the right thing by not letting the guy know it got to you. ( I hear in some places you best not have any Bush stickers if you want to keep your windows intact...sad times ) and remember the New Left has taken liberal to new lows.
Unbelievable! I would have been furious. I live in Ventura County, and my SUV has both "W 04" and "Bush - Leadership Integrity Morality" stickers taped inside the back window. A few days ago, I found a packet of letter-size paper under the windshield wiper. There was a cover letter specially printed from "a fellow Texan" (my car has a Native Texan license plate frame - but I question that person's Texas credentials). The frantic letter, unsigned, BEGGED me not to vote for GWB. "PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!!" it read, and there was a pile of anti-Bush garbage attached to it. I'll always be curious who it was, though. I was sorry to have missed the big event on the 1st (I was in Fresno, of all places)- hope the rest of your day went well.
