That is not right, not right at all. If it was a sign on a mosque property, fine. But public property? A sign in Arabic with no English equivalent? Did it at least have a Spanish translation?! We are a country headed towards disaster, allright.

Knife attack at Beijing nursery

A doorman at a Beijing kindergarten has stabbed 15 children, killing one of them, according to Chinese state media.

Three teachers were also injured when the knife-wielding man went on the rampage at a nursery in Beijing University's Number One Hospital.

The alleged attacker, 51-year-old Xu Heping, has now been detained by police for questioning.

The motive for the stabbing is unclear, but Mr Xu is said to have had a history of mental illness.

The incident was "the worst attack on children in the capital in decades", according to China Central Television (CCTV).

It's not on public property. The sign(s) are part of a group of small business signs for a strip mall. Clearly, they aren't intended to solicit any business from a non-Arabic speaker. The Kearny Mesa area has lots of Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean merchants. They label in their native language AND English. There are parts of town with Spanish only signs, but that is somewhat expected with the large Mexican-American population.
