Although emergency generators and pumps came on line, a valving failure resulted in a loss of pressure in the city’s water system. In addition, an extreme power surge disabled communications of the City’s water supply monitoring system. Due to the communication outage the City is not able to determine if there was a complete loss of water pressure or just reduced pressure throughout the city. Therefore, we are advising all residents and businesses to take precautions.
As a safety precaution, residents and businesses are advised to use boiled tap or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes for the next 48 hours or until further notified. "

I checked the city site, and as of the time of this post, everything is back to normal, but I just find it odd, that losing power would cause a water contamination problem, lasting a couple of days, as this has.
If it was just an accident, it still points to a serious vulnerability -- an entire town impacted. And how did people get the word, I didn't see anything about it on TV or on the internet, except the website of the city.

You are too kind. I'm being brief. Trying to stay cool, calm and collected, but my true aim would be, if I only could...to blow this mohammadan cult and its 'prophet' out of the water, so to speak.
